Tommy Haas will make his first Davis Cup appearance for Germany since 2007 and is using the weekend tie in Bamberg against 2011 finalist nation Argentina as a casting call to try and find a new personal physio.
The 33-year-old, who last played for his country five years ago in a loss to Russia, is joined on the German squad by Florian Mayer, Philipp Petzschner and Philipp Kohlschreiber.
Haas has used Twitter, Facebook and his own website to sound the job alert alarm. "I need a top physio on my side whom I can trust," said Haas, who also owns a US passport.
The wily veteran, who once touched second in the rankings, is calling candidates to the tie for auditions during the Davis Cup week, with a full-time traveling job on offer to the winner.
"I'm looking for someone who is a fitness enthusiast and sometimes three, four, five weeks at a time can be on the road," said Haas, who's most recent medical intervention was hip surgery.
