Business is booming on court and off for Novak Djokovic and his close-knit relatives, with the family business now expanding into what is fast becoming a Serbian restaurant empire.
The city of Novi Sad is the latest venue for a Djokovic product, with another branch of the Novak Café & Restaurant only recently opening.
The No. 1 has become the breadwinner for a small business, with the Family Sport operation also running the Belgrade ATP 250 event in May, featuring - who else - Novak Djokovic as top seed.
While the player concentrates on his game, his father Srjdan and various uncles tend to business. The restaurant game is nothing new to the Djokovic clan, with Novak's father running a pizza restaurant at a ski resort near Belgrade for years before his son made it in tennis.
In addition, the company also distributes the clothing of Djokovic sponsor Sergio Tacchini of Italy throughout Serbia.
The new Novak restaurant in Novi Sad runs the family total of establishments to four, with the newest also featuring a bar. The Novak place in Belgrade opened several years ago to a roaring trade based on the fame of one of the country's leading sportsmen and national tennis hero.
