There will be just over a week for World Tour Finals runner-up Jo-Wilfried Tsonga to rest and recover before starting the training regime all over again in time for the 2012 ATP season.
The Frenchman was lamenting the brief turnaround after his three-set loss in the title match against Roger Federer.
"I'm a bit tired especially because I know in 10 days I have to come back to practice, to prepare (for) the other season," said the world No. 6, who lost six of eight matches with the Swiss in 2011. "That's why I'm tired. It's not because of this season, but because I have only a short time to recover and then I have to go back to work to improve my game."
Tsonga said that his main pleasure from 2011 is the discovery of some consistency. "I was more consistent, consistent in my head, that's why I was good this year.
"But I lost a bit physically, I need to improve again. I have to work hard, get my body quicker on the court, to move better. Maybe if I move better next year, I will have some better results."
