Andy Murray believes he's well on the way to a new start in his game, with last month's Asian title turnaround still set to pay dividends in the final sprint of the 2011 season.
It's all starting now for the Scot, who took over the No. 3 world ranking from Roger Federer and is hoping to seize the Swiss player's hometown title this weekend.
Murray also said that it's his dream to try and win the year-end final at his London home when the eight-man competition starts November 20 at the O2 arena deep in the city's East End.
"I'd love to win it because outside of the Grand Slams it's the biggest tournament to win, the most prestigious. I was disappointed not to get to the final last year (losing in the semi-final to Rafael Nadal)," Murray told London's Evening Standard.
"But I've been in the semis a couple of times. The surface is good for me and I've always had a pretty good record in it so I'd love to win it."
He added that after beating Nadal last month for the Tokyo title, he's keen to get a crack at the Spaniard in London at the wrap-up event.
