Gael Monfils moved up in the chase for a place in the ATP World Tout Finals in London, standing 14th for eight-man event after winning the Stockholm Open in his debut.
But the Frenchman's heart remains set on a closer goal - finally claiming the home Masters 1000 title at Paris Bercy.
"Honestly, my goal is to do well again in Bercy (arena)," said 10th-ranked Monfils, who has lost the last two Paris indoor finals to Novak Djokovic and Robin Soderling. "I'm not looking at London at all."
After healing a knee injury which had looked it might end his season early when he lost three weeks ago in a Bangkok semifinal, Monfils has breathed new live into his game.
"I'm not playing this week, I think that will be good for my body. But I want to build for Paris. Maybe I can also play well in Valencia (next week). But my ultimate goal for this season is to win in Bercy."
