Davis Cup standout David Nalbandian may feature in a live fifth rubber against Serbia on Sunday. With the probable return of Novak Djokovic, the veteran looks to score a must-win victory over Janko Tipsarevic.
David Nalbandian leads Janko Tipsarevic 1-0 in the head-to-head series. Should the semifinal tie reach a fifth match, the two will be meeting for the first time since 2007.
The Argentine veteran earned the first point of the tie on Friday, having held on to defeat Viktor Troicki in four sets. The 29-year-old has earned 22 singles wins since 2002, but is yet to hoist the trophy.
Argentina finished Davis Cup runner up in 1981, 2006 and 2008.
Tipsarevic was unsuccessful in his singles effort on Friday, as opponent Juan Martin Del Potro came through in straight sets. The 27-year-old will be looking to record his 29th victory in singles.
