Defending champion Serbia will continue its bid for another title, as World No. 1 Novak Djokovic is scheduled to take on Davis Cup standout David Nalbandian. The two are slated to kick off the semifinal tie on Friday.
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic holds a 4-1 series lead against veteran David Nalbandian. The players last met in 2010, when the World No. 1 scored a straight-set victory at the Masters 1000 Cincinnati.
Djokovic enters into the Davis Cup tie having won his third Grand Slam of the season at the US Open. He is an improbable 64-2 for the year, with 10 titles to his credit.
The 24-year-old was not a guarantee to play the first rubber, but looks to be ready to compete for host nation Serbia.
World No. 74 Nalbandian has compiled a modest 16-10 record in 2011. The 29-year-old will attempt to win his 22nd singles rubber since his 2002 Davis Cup debut.
Prediction: Djokovic in straight sets.

I sincerely hope he is not going to play. He needs rest for a matchup with DelPo. Anyway, I am going there to watch and will be happy to see anyone else play Nalby. Janko and DelPo will be a great match too. Can't wait! ;)
