World No. 3 Roger Federer is set to continue his bid for a sixth US Open title, as he takes to the court against Dudi Sela. The players will be contesting their second career meeting early Thursday.
Third seed Roger Federer leads Dudi Sela 1-0 in the series, having won their only previous meeting at the 2005 French Open.
Federer began his run with a straight-set victory over Santiago Giraldo late Monday. The 30-year-old Swiss collected 36 winners and seven service breaks, en route to a 6-4, 6-3, 6-2 win.
He is bidding for his 44th match win this season.
World No. 93 Dudi Sela came through his opening-round match against Thomaz Bellucci in five sets. After dropping the first two sets, Sela rallied to take the final set, 6-0.
He looks to record his seventh main-draw victory in 2011.
Prediction: Federer in straight sets.

Vitality,
I am from India and enjoy the Maestro at work. he seems to be enjoying the freerunning and freeflowing game he is known for. Great to see him in even half flow.

Cilic or Tomic and then Hass next. Come on Roger, you can still paint the lines, send a few more aces, a few more drops, overhead smashes, inside out forehands, down the line or crosscourt passing shots, the great volley and an occasional tweener. Good luck man.
