Among his hundreds of personal Wimbledon moments, Roger Federer has no doubt as to the one which most easily comes to mind.
"For me it's the moment when I lift the Wimbledon trophy really," said the six-time All England club champion who embarks on the quest for a record-leveling seventh alongside Pete Sampras. "That's the picture I see when I close my eyes.
"That's the moment I see and I feel the strongest."
The 29-year-old Swiss last experienced the sensation in 2009 as he beat Andy Roddick after losing to Rafael Nadal in an epic in 2008 which ended almost in darkness.
"All the hard work during the year, and then the preparation and just staying focused and strong till the very end, to be able to lift up the trophy is a wonderful feeling. That's the picture I see."
Federer added that most cherished silverware in the game is also the perfect fit. "It's just the right size and the right heaviness really. It doesn't feel too light or impossible to lift.
"It's really good, it's very nice."

Thats my boy. He's been gunning for this almost a year now. Such a great year he has had. Winning this would be the icing on the cake. Almost in striking distance for #1.
