    Thursday play suspended at UNICEF Open Quarterfinal play could not be completed in s-Hertogenbosch, as rains stopped play into Thursday evening. Third seed Xavier Malisse is slated to continue his match Friday, having built a 6-2, 4-3 advantage over Alex Bogomolov.

    Fourth seed Ivan Dodig was the only player to finish his quarterfinal match on Thursday, as heavy rain halted play for his fellow seeds. The 26-year-old rallied from a set down to beat Teymuraz Gabashvili in three, 2-6, 6-1, 6-2.

    Dodig awaits the winner of the quarterfinal clash between second seed Marcos Baghdatis and Denis Gremelmayr. Their match will be contested early Friday, with the winner returning to play a second match later in the day.

    Third seed Xavier Malisse was leading Alex Bogomolov, 6-2, 4-3 when play came to an end.

    The winner of the Malisse/Bogomolov match will take on either Santiago Giraldo or Dmitry Tursunov on Friday. The players are set to resume at 4-4 in the deciding set.
