    5/16/11 11:42 PM | Ricky Dimon
Youzhny, Troicki headline day of singles in Dusseldorf Six singles match will be contested in Dusseldorf on Tuesday. Both of the singles rubbers in the USA-Kazakhstan and Russia-Serbia ties are on the schedule.

Serbia, which won the World Team Cup in 2009, will be looking to bounce back from an early round-robin defeat when it goes up against Russia in a pair of singles matches on Tuesday in Dusseldorf.

Janko Tipsarevic will kick off the proceedings against Igor Andreev as the Serb looks to rebound from a 6-4, 7-6(5) loss to Germany's Philipp Kohlschreiber on Sunday. Andreev, meanwhile, outlasted Spain's Daniel Gimeno-Traver and saved three consecutive match points before prevailing 7-5, 4-6, 7-6(6). The lone previous encounter between Tipsarevic and Andreev came four years ago on the clay courts of Amersfoort and the Russian dominated 6-1, 6-1.

The tie's other singles rubber will be contested by Viktor Troicki and Mikhail Youzhny. Troicki succumbed to Florian Mayer 6-2, 6-2 on Monday while Youzhny opened with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Marcel Granollers. Youzhny leads their head-to-head series 2-1, including 2-0 on clay. They last faced each other at the 2010 French Open, where the Russian advanced 2-6, 7-6(4), 6-2, 6-3.

Serbia dropped its overall match 3-0 to Germany, but Russia is coming off a 2-1 win over Spain.

The United States and Kazakhstan are also set for a pair of singles titles on Tuesday. Team USA, which beat Sweden 2-1 on Monday, is sending Mardy Fish and Sam Querrey to the court. Fish will go up against Andrey Golubev before Querrey does battle with Mikhail Kukushkin.

Kazakhstan was blanked 3-0 by Argentina in its opener and won a mere 14 total games in three matches.
