Pablo Andujar defeated Potito Starace in easy straight sets to lift his first ATP trophy.
The final between Pablo Andujar and Potito Starace was surprisingly one-sided, with Spaniard Andujar allowing Starace just 3 games for the match.
Andujar faced one break point in each set, but he managed to hold Starace off. The Spaniard’s first serve percentage wasn’t great; he put just 54% of his first serves in, but Starace didn’t get enough purchase on the return to make a dent.
The match lasted just an hour and 15 minutes and resulted in 4 breaks of the Starace serve. The Italian heads straight to Monte Carlo where the first clay Masters of the year has already started.
