    Troicki, Isner reach round of 16 Viktor Troicki is through to the Sony Ericsson round of 16, following his hard-fought victory against Sam Querrey. The Serbian is joined by John Isner, who took out qualifier Alexander Bogomolov Jr in straight sets.

    Sixteenth seed Viktor Troicki made the fourth round on Sunday, having upended 19th seed Sam Querrey in three sets. The 25-year-old withstood 17 aces from the American, en route to a 7-6(5), 3-6, 7-5 win in two hours and 35 minutes. After splitting the first two sets, Troicki went on to secure a key second service break late in the decider. He completed the evening with 7 aces and three of 9 break point chances converted.

    He will face either World No. 2 Novak Djokovic or wildcard James Blake for a place in the quarterfinal.

    (30) John Isner def. (Q) Alexander Bogomolov Jr. 6-2, 7-6(4)

    Thirtieth seed John Isner is through to the last 16, following his straight-set win over fellow American Alexander Bogomolov Jr. The 25-year-old, who crushed 11 aces during the match, did not face a single break point through 82 minutes of play. The qualifier had a difficult day handling the Isner serve, having been held to 9 total points won on the return.

    Isner is next to meet Kevin Anderson in the fourth round. The South African recorded a routine victory over Spaniard Pablo Andujar in round three, 6-2, 6-3.
