I'm glad young Ryan is getting this match. Oh he's gonna take the thrashing of his life but at least he'll see what a #1 player is like to play against. He'll know what type of fitness, focus and determination it's going to take for him to possibly get there.
I'd also like to see Tomic upset Lopez so he can get the same lesson. He's an arrogant one so he needs that lesson for a different reason.

Inside joke?????????? There's no guarantee Tomic will win in second round but if he does he'll have to take some strong medicine.

Three double-faults and 4 aces before the end of 2nd set.
There not being any contest for the match, he was focusing on serve, it's rare for him to get three double faults, you can see he was going all out.
Don't think he was too satisfied with his results though as he practised serves right after the match.
Bad luck for Daniel, he tried to get at least some game on the board but decided to end his agony when the next 6-0 was looming.
Easy 1st round, this always helps.
