Tenth seed Nikolay Davydenko needed just 56 minutes to dispatch an error-prone Thomaz Bellucci on Wednesday, 6-3, 6-0. The 29-year-old Russian secured four of 11 break chances during the match, while facing none against him. The Brazilian had problems with his second serve, unable to take more than 32% of the points. Davydenko completed the day having surrendered only nine service points.
He faces fifth seed Tomas Berdych for a place in the quarterfinals. The Czech cruised through his opener with wildcard Florent Serra, 6-3, 6-1.

The veteran Frenchman tallied 14 aces and held 10 consecutive service games through 60 minutes of play. The 30-year-old finished the match with 31 winners to six unforced errors.
Llodra is slated to meet defending champion Novak Djokovic in the next round. The world No. 3 took out Juan Monaco in the second round, 6-4, 6-3.
