World No. 10 Mikhail Youzhny survived his toughest test of the week, having saved four match points against compatriot Dmitry Tursunov on Saturday. The top seed is through to the St. Petersburg Open final.

Top seed Mikhail Youzhny made his third final in St. Petersburg, after ousting fellow Russian Dmitry Tursunov in the semifinal. The 28-year-old was forced to save a quartet of match points during the three-hour and six-minute match. After splitting the first two sets, Youzhny trailed by a service break at 2-4. The world No. 10 fell behind 3-6 and 6-7 in the deciding-set tiebreak, but held off each point.
Youzhny completed the match with seven aces and three of 12 break chances converted. He faces first-time finalist Mikhail Kukuskin for the title on Sunday.
Mikhail Kukushkin def. Illya Marchenko 6-3, 6-4
Mikhail Kukushkin is through to his first ATP World Tour final following his straight-set success over Illya Marchenko. The 22-year-old secured four of 8 break point opportunities through one hour and 35 minutes. After building a 5-1 lead in the opening set, Kukushkin pocketed a critical break at 4-4 in the second set.
