    Stockholm - Blake outlasts Bellucci, Lopez loses James Blake is through to round two at the If Stockholm Open after rallying to defeat seventh seed Thomaz Bellucci. The American veteran is joined in the second round by Florian Mayer, who upset Feliciano Lopez in straight sets.

    World No. 135 James Blake advanced to the second round following his three-set victory over seventh seed Thomaz Bellucci. The 30-year-old American struck seven aces and saved five of seven break chances through one hour and 42 minutes. With passage into the round of 16, the two-time former champion extended his season to 14-15.

    Blake will take on either Lukasz Kubot or qualifier Matthias Bachinger for a place in the quarterfinals.

    Florian Mayer def. (6) Feliciano Lopez 6-2, 6-2

    World No. 47 Florian Mayer made the round of 16 after upending sixth seed Feliciano Lopez in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2. The 27-year-old held eight of eight service games to seal a win in just 56 minutes. The German turned in a solid day on serve, holding the Spaniard to only 12 points on the return.

    Mayer will meet wildcard Michael Ryderstedt in the round of 16. The Swede took out Daniel-Gimeno Traver in the opening round, 7-6(3), 6-3.
