Roger Federer feels he is hitting top form as the Swiss goes about closing out his 2010 season with a solid tournament run and perhaps a title or two.
The world No. 3 is keen on a big finish, playing the Stockholm Open next week and then competing at home in Basel, at Paris Bercy and at the year-end finals in London next month.
Federer says his new tag-team coaching arrangement with longtime Swiss adviser Serverin Luthi and American Paul Annacone is working well. Annacone is in Shanghai for the Masters 1000 week and will
handoff to Luthi in Basel, where Federer lost the final a year ago to Novak Djokovic.
Federer says there is no confusion about roles on the team with all comfortable with the mix-and-match strategy based upon the boss's needs. "Severin was with me the whole time in Dubai (training after
the US Open," said Federer. "We worked on everything.
"He was in contact with Paul as well. Things went perfect, it was extremely hot, 39 Celsius every day. That was kind of the toughest part. But it worked the out well. I'm happy the way I'm playing right now, I'm moving well. The coordination seems like it's working well."

i have my doubts federer will come to stockholm now that he went all the way to the final of shanghai... he skipped stockholm before at the last minute. he doesn't need it... maybe the current tournament direction with thomas johansson and jonas björkman knows him better though, than last time, so he'd be too embarrassed to skip it again...
