Serbia hints that it's tough to make a decision about which surface to use for December's Davis Cup final with France.
The newest tennis powerhouse nation has had the luck of the draw this season with home ties and a host permitted to make the call on the court covering.
The Serbs appear to be waiting to see exactly who fronts up for the nine-time champion French in Belgrade December 3-5. If former Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfried is fit from a long-running knee injury, that will make a difference in the selection.
The hosts will also seek input from Novak Djokovic and doubles ace Nenad Zimonjic after they play the two remaining ATP Masters events indoors in October and November,
"The French play very well on all surfaces," said captain Bogdan Obradovic. "Let's see if Jo-Wilfried Tsonga plays or not." Serbia are playing the Davis Cup final for the first time in the country's 16-year history after winning a semi-final this month 3-2 over 2009 finalist the Czech Republic.
