    Bucharest- Chela downs Montanes to reach final Fourth seed Juan Ignacio Chela is through to the BCR Open final, after defeating defending champion Albert Montanes in straight sets. The veteran Argentine will face qualifier Pablo Andujar for the title.

    Fourth seed Juan Ignacio Chela made his second clay-court final of the season, following his straight-set dismissal of top-seeded defending champion Albert Montanes. The Argentine secured five of 10 service breaks en route to a 6-1, 6-3, semifinal-round win in 82 minutes. Montanes rallied to 3-4 from 1-4 down in the second set, but failed to hold serve in the ninth game.

    World No. 105 Pablo Andujar advanced to his first ATP World Tour final with a three-set win over familiar rival Marcel Granollers. The 24-year-old Spaniard earned two key breaks in the decider to seal a 7-6(5), 4-6, 6-4 success in three hours and 12 minutes of play. The qualifier extended his Tour-level record to 7-5.
