Andy Murray says he won't be rushed into hiring a coach in the wake of his US Open third-round disappointment.
The Scot insists he will not panic after his shock early exit from the US Open at the hands of Stanislas Wawrinka.
Murray has been in charge of his own game - assisted by mother Judy - for the last few months after parting with mentor Miles MacLagan. he said getting a new coach is a long-term, thoughtful project.
"I'm not going to panic and hire someone to try and make things better. I'm going to take my time. I'm going to go home, have a rest, because I need it, and see what I decide to do after that."
"I'll speak to all the guys I work with and see what's gone well this year, what hasn't gone so well. It's one match and I wish I'd played better. But I'm not going to panic and start trying to analyse everything that's going on because I've been pretty much injury free the whole year."
Added the No. 4: "You've got to be patient. I've played some of my best tennis in two of the majors this year. I want to improve and get better. I'm obviously going to look for a coach and people that are gonna help me to do that."

Such a pressure, such burden on that guy...
Give him a chance and let him in peace!!!

Look, Andy should be used to the pressure right now!! What Andy really needs to start doing is to enjoy the game A LOT more.............have fun, like Rafa and Roger!!!!
He is taking this thing WAY too serious and its killing him!!!! He really needs to lighten up a bit more, bcos he surely has, but lighten up just a little bit more. Learn to have some fun man!!!!........enjoy the game, geeez!!!!.................these Brits are WAY too serious!!!!
Andy will NEVER win a GSlam if he never learns how to enjoy winning one!!!

I wonder if they put the same pressure on Nole in Serbia.

Monalysa: Rafa doesn't look happy on court, most of the time he glares. Nor, does he lighten up ever! His intensity is phenomenal. I suggest you take another look. Sure he looks happy when he wins, but they all do.
zare: cheers and GO Novak, should be an ace match, really like Monfils too.

As Laura Robson said about loss;"It's disappointing but it's not the end of the world." Bless. She's some tough cookie. Only wish she were older to take some of the limelight off Andy.
