Wimbledon marathon man John Isner will team with Serena Williams as the lineup up January's Hopman Cup in Perth takes shape.
The opening bell for the 2011 season will mark Isner's return after a debut this year at the eight-nation teams event; Williams is bidding for a third trophy in showings in west Australia as part of the US squad.
Making her debut will be 2010 Australian Open finalist Justine Henin, pairing with Belgian compatriot Steve Darcis. The high-profile pair of Novak Djokov and Ana Ivanovic will represent Serbia, with Ivanovic back for the first time in five years.
Also on deck: Lleyton Hewitt for Australia and Gael Monfils for France and the event starting January 1.
"It's a spectacular line-up," said tournament boss Paul McNamee. "There is potential for some really great match-ups for both the men and the women, not to mention the mixed."
Djokovic parleyed his 2008 Hopman trophy into title success at the Australian Open a month later. "I'm looking forward to going back to the Hopman Cup," said the world No. 2. "For me it was a good preparation for the Australian Open."
