Andy Murray is making do with a much more modest summer holiday than Roger Federer's recent Mediterranean family yacht charter, with the Scot spending a quiet weekend in the Bahamas with his once-again girlfriend Kim Spears.
British tabloids couldn't get enough of the couple - they split at November - relaxing on sun loungers at a top-end resort. It was quickly pointed out though that Murray had his head buried in a video gaming device while university student Sears read an improving book.
One London tabloid quoted an onlooker: "They spent about two-and-a-half hours by the pool, she was reading her book and he spent most of that playing on his Nintendo DS. They looked very relaxed."
The 23-year-old Murray was taking a break from training in Miami, where he owns a flat. The world No. 4 is putting in the time on hardcourt in preparation for the US Open run-up, with his first summer entry due next month at the Toronto Masters.
Murray has apparently taken his heavy Wimbledon semi-final loss to Rafael Nadal hard in recent weeks, feeling a need to get out of Britain and work again on his game with the US Open approaching next month.

Andy has a great smile but I sure wouldn't call him beautiful. I'm also sure that Andy and Kim enjoyed their vacation at least as much as Roger and Mirka. You don't have to have a million bucks to enjoy your surroundings.
