Serbia won their quarterfinal meeting with rival Croatia in convincing fashion, sealing a 4-1 victory on Sunday.
Novak Djokovic only had to win his rubber in order for Serbia to advance to the semfinals of Davis Cup. The Serbian team had won the singles rubber between Djokovic and Ivan Ljubicic, and they also won the doubles rubber on Saturday.
Djokovic took on Croatia's top player, Marin Cilic, who broke through the rankings last year. But any hopes that Cilic would give the world No. 2 difficulty was dashed.
Cilic suffered a straight-set drubbing at the hands of Djokovic, 6-3, 6-3, 6-2. The tie was played in Croatia, but home court advantage seemed to offer little help to the Croat team. Djokovic was dominant throughout the match; Cilic never had a whiff at causing the upset.
The final rubber of the tie was throw-away, with Janko Tipsarevic capping a fourth win for the Serbs.
Serbia will take on the Czech Republic in the semifinals.

Anyone know why Nole's playing the "Farmer's Classic" 250-pointer in LA?! Shouldn't he be resting like the rest?
