Tomas Berdych and Jurgen Melzer are through to the round of 16 at Wimbledon, following their victories over respective opponents Denis Istomin and Feliciano Lopez.

World No. 13 Tomas Berdych rallied from a 1-2 set deficit to record a five-set victory over tricky third-round opponent Denis Istomin. The 24-year-old Czech earned a critical service break in the deciding set to lead 3-2. Berdych complete the evening with 34 aces and three of 13 break points converted. With the third-round win, Berdych secured his fourth round of 16 berth since his 2004 Wimbledon debut.
The 12th seed is scheduled to take on either 31st seed Victor Hanescu or Daniel Brands for a place in the quarterfinal.
(16) Jurgen Melzer def. (22) Feliciano Lopez 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4
Sixteenth seed Jurgen Melzer extended his series lead to 4-2 over 22nd seed Feliciano Lopez on Friday. The Austrian battled back from a set down to record a third-round win in five, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. Melzer, who converted five of 10 break points, struck 33 winners and 18 aces en route to a success in two hours and 29 minutes.
The 29-year-old will take on defending champion Roger Federer in the round of 16. The World No. 2 cruised through the third round, besting veteran Arnaud Clement in straight sets, 6-2, 6-4, 6-2.
