Andy Murray's path to a potential title defence at Queen's club will not be easy, with the Scot set to face a starting lineup including Croatian Marin Cilic, the top seed Rafael Nadal and number two Novak Djokovic.
A year ago, Murray became the fist British player since 1938 to win the elite Wimbledon tune-up in west London. He lost in the French Open fourth round last week to Tomas Berdych and is now keen to get onto the grass.
"I look forward to playing another tournament now," said the 23-year-old as he exited in Paris. "That's the good thing about tennis. I'm very disappointed just now, but it's a different challenge in a week's time."
The Queen's event precedes a week of private practise before the June 21 start of Wimbledon for Murray. "I get to spend a lot of time at home in front of home support, I'm looking forward to the grass court season."
Seeded players all receive first round byes. Nadal is returning for the first time since winning the trophy in 2008 and backing it up with the Wimbledon crown over Roger Federer.

Andy has to serve well and come to net more often - something he did against Rafa in A.O. But his service also tends to drop as happened agaisnt Gasquet in F.O. His anticipation and foot work are his major weapons. But since he does not have a brutal forehand or backhand, he sometimes goes too defensive when trailing. I would love to see an attacking Andy take on a rejuvenated Rafa in Semi-finals.

Yep, here's hoping, deuce.
The Queens draw looks tougher this year. Muzz will benefit from grass practice, sure, but methinks he needs wins more than anything else right now, so if he can get to at least the SFs that will set him up nicely.
Unless I'm mistaken, winning at Queens doesn't translate all that well into winning Wimbie. If muzz can peak in about 3 weeks time, that will be just nice :)

smr: Hi! I see Andy and Jamie are in action this evening, playing Querry and another.
Really interested to see how Andy's gonna shape up on grass. Hopefully it's a new start.
