The LTA is set to lose another staff member at the end of this tennis season in November.
Former Pete Sampras and Tim Henman coach Paul Annacone will step down from an estimated part-time payday of up to $600,000 per annum for 30 weeks of work when he leaves Britain's cashed-up Lawn Tennis Association later this year.
The November parting of the ways will mark another departure through the revolving doors of the rich federation which still can't seem to produce a steady string of players outside of Andy Murray.
British media are already wondering why the 47-year-old American needs to wait six months to take his leave.
He also served on the Davis Cup staff, but with the resignation of captain John Lloyd in the wake of a spring loss to Lithuania which leaves Britain one step away form the bottom rung of the competition, Annacone's days were considered numbered in that job.
His departure follows that a few seasons ago of Brad Gilbert, who lasted 16 months at around $700,000 per year as coach of Murray before the Scot set up the coaching brain trust which currently comprises his travelling tennis roadshow.
