Spain's fashion-plate player Feliciano Lopez swears that a haircut has saved his game this season, with the left-hander lifting his season after getting a trim.
Lopez, who began 2009 on 27th but now stands 45th, only recently began reversing a run of ten first-round exits this season. He said that after his spin in the barber chair, he managed to secure his first-ever Masters semifinal, facing Rafael Nadal just over a week ago in Shanghai.
He's now started well in Vienna, a special place in his heart. "I really like it here - it's the scene of my first and only trophy," said the winner five years ago over Argentine Guillermo Canas.
"I was losing so much that I just had to do something about it. I didn't know what else, so I cut my hair. All of a sudden I started to win, so I don't want to change a thing now."

Love it! That's a leftie way of thinking (takes one to know one).

Really ... I think it's the wolverine sideburns that are making the difference.
