James Blake's tennis may have dropped off the map with the former
Top 10 regular now down to 22nd on the ATP.
But the American has found a way to distract himself from the grim reality by launching
his line of clothing for sponsor Fila.
Blake will be both model and guinea pig for the garb when he plays in it at the US Open starting Monday, facing an opening match with Spaniard Ruben Ramirez Hidalgo. Blake last scored an ATP win in
mid-June, losing his last five matches.
Blake has named the clothes in honour of his late father and hero, using his parent's first and middle names in the Thomas Reynolds collection.
"I've learned a lot about tennis fashion throughout my career," said the 29-year-old whose best showings at Flushing Meadows were a pair of quarter-finals.
