Querrey defeats Dancevic to reach Indianapolis final Sam Querrey beats Frank Dancevic in the Indianapolis semifinals on Saturday afternoon. Querrey will contest his second ATP final in three weeks against fellow American Robby Ginepri.

Sam Querrey reached his second ATP title match of the month on Saturday, defeating Frank Dancevic 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals of the Indianapolis Tennis Championships. Querrey needed one hour and 13 minutes to set up an all-American showdown with Robby Ginepri.

Neither Querrey nor Dancevic could break serve throughout the first nine games of the match, but the 6'6'' American suddenly struck with his opponent serving to stay in the set at 4-5. Querrey, who saved two break points and won 12 of 14 first-serve points in the opening frame of play, capitalized on his third break point of the afternoon to take a one-set advantage.

A matchup between two big servers turned out to be anything but a servers' duel, especially in the second set. Five breaks of serve were exchanged; the same amount of breaks as holds in the final 10 games of the match. Two breaks for Querrey allowed him to serve for the match at 5-3, but he squandered the opportunity. Not to be denied however, the No. 3 seed bounced right back with Dancevic serving to stay alive. Querrey raced to commading 0-40 lead, holding a trio of break points. The 121st-ranked Canadian saved the first two but double-faulted at 30-40 for a disappointing end to the proceedings.

"I am very excited to reach the final at Indianapolis," said Querrey, who finished with 11 aces but served at just 56 percent. "I lost in the semis two times, so I was really hoping I could win today.

"It's always exciting to make a final," added the world No. 37, who lost in the Newport final earlier this month to fellow American Rajeev Ram. "Hopefully I'll get a win." Querrey and Ginepri will be squaring off for the first time in their careers when they clash for the title on Sunday afternoon. Ginepri, ranked 95th, defeated John Isner 6-4, 6-3 in the other semifinal.

- Bravo Sam, a final 09. It's always a thrill to earn what you think you play for. But for those with bad screening, go to Clive Peeters..Sells great electronics and is where I got this one. Meeting a well presented match is more than we ask for. We can see 'live' the 'pig' is therefore worth the hours -
