It may come as a shock to you, but people DO stay with their loved one REGARDLESS of the money they make or how they look. He could've been a low-life, superficial jerk and dated supermodels nonstop, but (and this is my opinion), all fans of tennis (regardless of the player) appreciate more the fact that he obviously loves Mirka (and vice versa) and married her, despite what people like you expect from him.

mona lisa....fed met mirka in the 2000 Athens olympics......she used to play for the swiss tennis team, but had a foot injury which stopped her tennis career. She was a good player.....fed met mirka then and apparently it was LOVE at first sight. She is almost 4 years old than fed. Fed was 18 she was 21....almost 22.....

I know what you say about 'more beautiful women', but I honestly think that Mirka is just beautiful. The weight thing. She can lose that in a flash. If she wants too. But let's face it...she follows her man and sits down watching his matches when he plays...so her life is pretty sedantry right now.....their relationship is based on more than outer beauty. She has been his manager for years...organising his tournaments, marketing, etc....she is a very clever lady....so whilst roger is making the money, she is the woman behind his success in terms of organising his life.....google her and find out more about her accomplishments. I think she is lovely in terms of her outer beauty......and at the end of the day, yeah, you find models all over the place, but their relationship has sustained the test of time and I think that counts for a lot.

It made me smile about Rafa.....in an interview about 2 years ago, he said he would NEVER marry a model and was not interested in that partying and celebrity 'ism'.....he said he would marry a girl from his home town...I thought that was lovely.......

You're an idiot. Mirka is by no means unattractive. Furthermore, no matter how beautiful you are, it starts to become very ordinary when you see it everyday and will deteriorate over time anyway. I personally would prefer someone who is attractive, with a winning personality, than someone who is stunning, but totally vacuous and uninteresting. Mirka is a good looking woman and seems to have the personality to match, which cannot be said for all attractive women.

They are both pretty lucky they could find a relationship that seems to work so well on many levels. As far as relationships go, this may be as good as it would be likely to get for either of them. With all the bed hopping and relationship acrimony you see in Hollywood, for example, it's clear that access to extremely attractive people does not necessarily produce more satisfactory relationships. You need something more.

about the baby I think there is not much to say before he is born,but I don't think saying that there r not many players who won a GS after becoming a father is a good reason to think the same for Roger.because I think they mostly became a father at a higher age, so u don't know it's the age effect or baby effect...and I don't think they were as motivated as Roger,there is not a big difference between 5 or 6 GSs but there is a big one between 13 and 14!! only time can tell us.
