Two and a half years after retiring, Andre Agassi is the target of promoters who want to lure him into the seniors game.
The 39-year-old can expect to be courted heavily by organizers of the year-end senior event in London when he fronts up at Wimbledon next month with wife Steffi Graf to break in the new Wimbledon Centre Court roof in an exhibition.
The former charisma man of the sport is also due to compete on Jim Courier's senior circuit at an event in October and will also play two matches for the Philadelphia squad of American Team tennis in July.
But it's London which may be pushing the hardest to sign Agassi after securing Pete Sampras last December. "He's very much top of our wish list, it would be wonderful to see him in the middle of a star studded field of former great champions," said an official.
Agassi stood No. 1 for 101 weeks and helped the US to three Davis Cup championships in addition to winning eight Grand Slam titles.
