Scotland’s Andy Murray took a spin in an 85-foot luxury yacht off the coast of Dubai.
World No. 4 player Andy Murray got the chance of a lifetime this week, as he took his maiden voyage in a gorgeous yacht prior to the Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. The 21-year-old Scotsman boarded the 85-foot vessel at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Marina. He sailed past the famous Burj Al Arab (pictured) and on to the Wild Wadi Water Park.
"This is the first time I’ve ever been on a boat like this before. It was great fun and probably the best player activity I’ve done whilst I’ve been on the Tour," the No. 2 seed said of his first yachting experience.
Murray was scheduled to play the quarterfinals against France’s Richard Gasquet, but the Scot pulled out of the tournament just hours before his match due to illness.
