Swiss qualifier Michael Lammer has the run of Roger Federer's flat in Dubai after qualifying for the Barclays Championships.
And while the Swiss is not in the tournament mix due to a back injury withdrawal, the pressure is Lammer to perform.
"Roger is a good friend and he has allowed me to stay at his apartment here," the world No. 246 playing his first ATP-level event since last summer's Swiss Open in Gstaad told the Gulf News.
"I hope I can compensate this gesture by going as far as possible in the main draw. You cannot compare anyone to Roger and I cannot replace him here."
Lammer, 26, said that a player like Federer "comes once in a lifetime. He is always there to help any of us any time. And besides, he is such a great friend too."
