No. 1 Rafael Nadal and fourth-ranked Andy Murray will be joined by the French Foreign Legion indoors at Rotterdam next February after Australian Open finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and Gaël Monfils signed up for the field.
Missing will be 2007 semi-finalist Novak Djokovic, originally scheduled for the Ahoy but now a withdrawal, according to organizers of the February 9-15 ATP tournament.
The event is run by former Wimbledon champion Richard Krajicek, who does well in attracting major names indoors in the depth of a Dutch winter. "Tsonga not only had an exceptionally good start to the season by reaching Australian Open final, he also won Paris Bercy Masters, underpinning his status as a leading indoor player," said Krajicek.
Dutch No, 118 Robin Haase, who put out Murray in the first round last February, was awarded a wild card.
