Andy Murray has become the punters choice in his home nation, with British bookmakers pleased to lay odds of future success for the world No. 4 Scot.
Murray swept into form over the past few months with a Cincinnati title and US Open final followed up by the Madrid Masters crown and a defense of his St. Petersburg title.
He stands with 6-to-4 odds at Ladbrokes of London to lift a Grand Slam trophy next season. "With a few more impressive results like that it's only a matter of time before he wins a Slam," said a spokesman.
Wimbledon also figures in the positive future outlook for the 21-year-old. Murray is tipped at 6-to-1 odds to become the first from the host nation to win the men's singles title at the All England club since Fred Perry in 1936.
Murray gets 6/1 odds to lift the Australian Open, 20/1 to win the French Open and 5/1 to go all the way in New York, where he lost to Roger Federer two months ago in the final.

Well since he has done most of this in the last half of the year, I expect he will have his sights set on bigger and better things. Good on him, I wish him all the very best, I think its great that the UK has a decent world player now with real potential to go all the way. He is an intelligent player with a great tennis brain and that is refreshing to see in this day and age. Yes he has the big guns if needed but his arsnal has much more in it than just power.
GOOD LUCK ANDY....
