  • Roddick makes tennis excuses for missing Fish wedding

    - Pressing tennis duties in China kept Andy Roddick away from the weekend wedding in California of former housemate Mardy Fish as the Davis Cup player married an American television gameshow model.

    Roddick is in the midst of as Asian run in Beijing and Tokyo, which he hopes will help him hang onto his fragile eighth ranking on the ATP as the race for the season-ending Masters Cup tightens.

    Fish and Roddick go back to their teenaged years a decade ago when Fish had a room in the Roddick family house in Florida as the pair of youngsters learned their tennis trade.

    Somewhat surprisingly, "Andy's not the best man." Fish said. "James Blake is my best friend on the Tour. We used to live together in Tampa. Andy and I are more like brothers than anything else. We'll fight over pretty much everything.

    "James and I almost the opposite. We get along extremely well. We get each other extremely well."

    Fish will base himself in L.A. to help his legally-trained wife further her showbusiness career while he works on lifting his tennis ranking from No. 23.

He missed to be present at the best friend wedding party, that's more than enough, what person is he, so what we could expect from individual like him, he doesn't respect his own friends, nevertheless, talking ironically about his opponent, I might be wrong, but have impression, he's not very nice person, you can see that from his body language, his appearance, he's way of talking, extc, anyway, I don't like his tennis, as aggressive as he is...
