  • Federer-Borg to combine in dream team for one night in Asia

    - Roger Federer will line up alongside fellow tennis icon Bjorn Borg in a dream doubles team during a one-off exhibition in Macao in late November.

    The payday for both stars will come conveniently for Federer four days after the final at the season-ending Masters Cup in Shanghai. The November 20 dats is part of a senior event to be played in the island colony which was returned to Chinese rule from Portugal several years ago.

    Also on the bill could be another surprise pairing of Rafael Nadal and John McEnroe.

    The senior tournament will be held at a top hotel on this island which is set to pass Las Vegas in the gambling stakes due to massive Chinese business from the mainland.

    Federer could also be lined up for a match with either Nadal or American James Blake, a dab hand at the poker table.

    Federer is no stranger to big Asian paydays, playing exhibitions over the past two autumns after Shanghai and facing Pete Sampras on a series of matches last year.
