Lleyton Hewitt could be facing a nerve-racking Australian Open campaign next January after revealing that wife Bec Cartwright is expecting the couple's second child during the month.
Hewitt entered his Wimbledon fourth-round match against Roger Federer only hours after an Australian gossip magazine published the report.
The former top-ranked player and his ex-television soap star wife have a daughter, Mia, who turns three in November, two months before the new arrival.
“Yeah, it's fantastic”, Hewitt was quoted in OK magazine from London. “Mia will be just over three when the baby arrives and we think she'll be a good little helper”, added Bec Hewitt.
