As he continues the bid for a long-sought French Open title, Swiss Roger Federer admits he feels at home in Paris.
And with a day off after reaching the semi-finals for the fourth year in a row with a comeback over Fernando Gonzalez, the top seed is at his ease.
“Each time I win a match I build up my confidence”, said the 12-time Grand Slam winner. “I have good feelings, I wanted to reach the semifinals and then be fit for the finals. I've not used too much of my energy, which is good”.
“I feel that people support me, not just because I speak French. Even when I played against (Frenchman) Julien (Benneteau) people were very fair play”.
“I think they're very supportive, especially here in Roland Garros, and I think they want me to win, and they've wanted that for three years”.
