This will be the 4th matchup between these two, with Djokovic holding a 3-0 lead and winning the last 6 sets. All of those matches were on hardcourts, however, and this clay is another beast entirely.
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray know each other well from the juniors tour and from simply playing professionally the past few years. All of their previous matchups were on hard courts and clay will throw a curveball into the matchup.
Djokovic looked solid in his previous round against Ljubicic, but he really didn't need to do much. All he did was get back the Croat's serve and wait it out for Ljubo to hit an error a million miles behind the baseline. Murray beat Volandri in impressive form, as well as Lopez in the opening round.
This one can go either way as neither player's favorite surface is clay. Djokovic will serve big and look to be aggresive off both wings and finish off points quickly. Murray will be more content to stay back behind the baseline and looping balls back. He will wait patiently for an opportunity to strike, as he plays a much more common clay court game than Djokovic.
A toss-up match.

Did you know that... Thomas Johansson's boyhood idol was Mats Wilander.
