As the tournament goes on, the matches get better and better. This one should be no exception as Wednesday's night cap match.
These two haven't played since 2003, where they played 4 times, all 4 times on clay, 2 times in Futures, 2 times in Challengers, with Andreev winning them all.
Hardly relevent.
Berdych is a better hardcourt player without a doubt than Andreev and has been in stunning form all week, losing serve just once in 3 matches. Andreev has had a little bit of a tougher road but has gotten here playing well.
There will be several keys to this match. One will be the wind factor. If there is any wind of any kind, Berdych will severely struggle. He is simply incapable of playing in the wind as his flat shots will fly on him. If there is wind, Berdych's mental toughness (something that has always been suspect with him) will come into play. Whether he can keep up this high level of play even in the wind will be a factor. Andreev plays will much more topspin on his shots, especially off the forehand wing. If wind does come into play, he will definitely have the advantage.
The final key to the match is the high kicking Andreev forehand to Berdych. Tomas stands at 195 cm, and shouldn't have a problem with high bouncing shots (which is also why he has beaten Nadal on hard courts time and again).
Berdych will be the favorite in the match and will most likely win, but Andreev certainly has a shot.

Nadal was awesome against Blake! He's getting better with each match this week! I think its unlikely Berdych can beat him in Miami.

Did you know that... Gustavo Kuerten was ranked 66th in the world when he won the French Open in 1997.

All three of Berdych's wins over Nadal were close and if I'm not mistaken all three were on fast hard courts, including one indoors.
Nadal will slaughter Berdych in Miami.
