  • Miami 4th Round: Tomas Berdych vs. Dmitry Tursunov

     - An interesting matchup of hard-hitters in this one. Expect a run and gun type of match in the 4th meeting between these two players.

A tale of two stories for both men simply getting to the 4th round. Tursunov has had a few battles so far, winning in 3 sets over Korolev, Gasquet, and Lopez.

Berdych, meanwhile, has had easy cruising victories over Querrey and Ferrero, losing just 7 games in 2 total matches.

But this one should be a good one.

Both men play a similar style of hard-hitting go-for-broke-all-the-time game. Berdych is 4 inches taller and has a better serve, but Tursunov the blogger has got the advantage when it comes to speed.

The key here will be which guy can make their shots as the rallies shouldn't last very long. A typical point could play out as big serve, return, finishing shot, 15-0.

These two have played 3 times before, with Berdych winning the first one in a 5 set thriller, Tursunov winning the second one in a 3rd set tiebreak, but Berdych winning their 2007 Australian Open match VERY easily. Berdych will have the advantage for sure and has looked impressive this week. However, his mental fragility could easily show as it has so many times in the past and he could possibly lose another match he is favored to win.
