Novak Djokovic hopes to banish any signs of victory monotony in tennis as he makes his move towards the top of the sport.
The Serb ranked third in the world is off to a lightning start this season, lifting titles at the two biggest events played so far in 2008, the Australian Open and Indian Wells Masters.
With a trophy win over Mardy Fish at the weekend in California, Djokovic heads into his title defense at the Miami Masters starting at mid-week in an enviable position.
And he hopes that people will not tire of his winning should he be able to keep it up.
“There's more variety of players at the top, which is encouraging thing for this sport,” said the 20-year-old who has closed the gap on No. 2 Rafael Nadal to less than 500 points.
“A lot of people, if I can say like that, got a little bit bored with (Roger)Federer and Nadal winning and being so dominant throughout the last couple of years.
”It's always good to see some new faces winning major events, and I think the people like it.
“The best thing is that all these new faces are young, young players, so hopefully you can see a lot of them in the future.”
