Rafel Nadal was licking his wounds after losing an Indian Wells semi-final to Novak Dhjokovic by lining up a soothing round of golf.
The 2007 champion needs to re-group fast in time for the start in Miami at mid-week. “I may even watch the final,” Nadal said about the showdown between 98th-ranked surprise packet Mardy Fish and Australian Open winner Novak Djokovic.
“I going to have day off, and I think fly at night to Miami,” said Spain's world No. 2. “I'll practise in Miami late Monday.
Nadal had been considering a trip to LA to watch the LA Lakers play basketball, but scrapped it with their Spanish ace Pau Gasol not on court.
”I would love to go to watch the Lakers, but Gasol is injured,“ said the disappointed Nadal.

My guess that it will be Federer and Rafa in the final of Miami. They both want revenge after Indian Wells...

Federer is looking awful right now. He might even lose his match to Isner on Saturday night (I will be there). Nadal really isn't playing as bad as people think he is, but with Djokovic on his side of the draw, he also has little chance of reaching the final.

I think Nadal is under big pressure now with the 'in form' Djokovic breathing down his neck! It promises to be a very exciting year!
