  • Roger Federer way behind Jonas Björkman

     - Jonas Björkman reached a milestone yesterday when he won his 1 090 victory on the ATP Tour and passed Stefan Edberg as the most victorious Swede. Next man ahead of Björkman is Guillermo Vilas while Roger Federer has a number of matches to win before he can reach Björkman.

    When Jonas Björkman and Kevin Ullyett won their doubles over Cermak/Kerr yesterday, the 36-year old Swede reached a milestone. He passed Stefan Edberg as the most victorious Swede on the ATP Tour. Björkman has been on the ATP Tour since 1991 and is also the active player who has won the most matches on the ATP Tour. Roger Federer has currently won 662 matches since he turned pro in 1998.
