Blake should be looking for blood after his disappointing loss in Delray, and Warburg will be an easy seal for the James shark.
Blake lost the final to Kei Nishikori last week in disappointing fashion. This does not bode well for Sam Warburg, who himself has yet to prove much if anything on the pro tour. He is 2-2 on the season, including losing to Tsonga in the Australian Open. Warburg's credentials have not been good thus far. Last year he spent most of his time playing challengers. Losing 1st and second round in some, and reaching finals in others. He also beat Amer Delic in 6-4, 6-3 in last year's San Jose event's 1st round.
Blake, on the other hand, should dominate this match. He will be too strong for Warburg and will take control from the first ball and not let go. However, I do expect him to perhaps get his serve broken in this match, as he usually does against lesser opposition. Also, players that compete in finals the week before an event usually get a Wednesday start in the following tournament, so Blake's Tuesday night start will be a quick turn-around.
Fatigue should not be an issue for a player of Blake's fitness and level of recent play, despite him flying across the country. Blake should win this one rather handily in straights, but he might make it hard on himself losing serve once or twice. Warburg should have no chance.
