ATP traps fourth Italian in anti-betting net The ATP has again flexed its disciplinary muscles, banning a fourth Italian player for wagering on matches.

Giorgio Galimberti, a journeyman whose ranking stands outside the top 100, joined compatriots Potito Starace, Daniele Bracciali and Alessio Di Mauro, in becoming poster children for anti-corruption war being waged by the men's sanctioning body.

Starace just returned this week serving his sanction for after betting on matches no involving himself.

An ATP statement said that Galimberti, 31, had wagered on tennis matches from June, 2003 through January, 2006. An independent anti-corruption official handed Galimberti a 100-day suspension and hammered him with a $35,000 fine.
