Blake recovers from a break down in each set to upend Ginepri and reach the Delray final for the 2nd straight year.
Rather solid play from both men, it was fun to watch this one. In each set, Ginepri had the advantage with early breaks but it didn't get Blake down. Blake is the kind of historically mentally fragile player that can fold under pressure like a deck of cards. That was not the case tonight. He stayed the course and was able to break twice in each set with aggresive baseline play and running Ginepri around. It was the same case for each set when Ginepri was up 4-2 and lost 4 straight games.
It was a fine comeback for Ginepri after being away for a while. Some good signs, but some not so much as well. All in all, he will be happy with his performance coming back and will look to improve even as he heads off to San Jose for the tournament next week. Blake will play the surprise of the event Kei Nishikori in the final.
