    - Spaniards Juan Carlos Ferrero and David Ferrer will be battling in a clash of Davis Cup teammates. Ferrero has his forehand, but will that be enough against a fast moving and well retreiving Ferrer?

    Though Ferrer has the better recent results by some margin, it would be unwise to dismiss Ferrero easily. He plays well on hard courts and he is coming off an impressive and surprisingly easy victory over David Nalbandian.

    Ferrer leads their head to head 4-1, the most recent encounter coming back in 2006. In fact, Ferrero has not beaten Ferrer since 2005. Ferrer's speed and superior retrieving skills neutralizes Ferrero's biggest weapon - his forehand. Without that, Ferrero will have difficulty making a dent on his countryman's serve. Both men have had an easy road to the round of 16, so fatigue shouldn't play a factor. If Ferrero can utilize his excellent forehand, he may be able to keep the match competitive for a few sets, but Ferrer should be able to win in straight sets again.

Whoa! STRAIGHT sets? JCF is on fire this tournament, esp. in his blowout win over Nalbandian. I think Ferrer will win - he has also been on fire - but I think this should go 5, 4 at the very least. We have a baseline slugfest on our hands here.

JCF hasn\'t even gotten CLOSE to Ferrer the last few times they played - and that was when he was a lot better and Ferrer a lot worse. Ferrer will have Ferrero making forehand errors all over the place.

JCF hasn't been "much better" than he is right now since David Ferrer broke onto the ATP Tour!!!!

It didn't end in three straigt sets, but it was a little bit tougher even though he had control of the match
